For most, Fall means the changing of colors, cooler, cozier weather, and, of course, pumpkin spice lattes. For us here at Foothills Park, spotting a Hairy Tarantula is one of the best ways to kick off the new season. Hudson River Park 位在曼哈頓的西邊,他們建了一連串突出河岸的碼頭(目前有40個)製作出不同的program來使用.據說是從2001年開始整建,聽Dechen說以前這個地方治安十分不好,算是紐約的死巷. 整件工程分四大階段在進行中, 因為Hudson River Park的其中一個主要負責人算是我老闆Nancy的朋友,所以他帶我們做了案子大略的導覽,覺得這次的tour受益良多!!
Hudson River Park有一個行政機構在負責所有pier的行政及工程事宜,在夏天的時候紐約有很多免費的音樂會跟電影可以觀賞,當然Hudson River Park也不落人後, 他們在其中的幾個pier上設置給兒童的釣魚站,免費提供釣竿跟魚飼料教小朋友釣魚,釣起來後還有教學的牌示交他們那些東西的相關知識.
