Building and decorating proceed apace!
Will be interesting to see if I get ambitious enough to, say, export it from the local world and upload/import it into some more public space...

Me in the ONGENS OpenSim Virtual World Grid. This is an experimental Grid set up in the ONGENS Test Bed Facility between Otago University and Canterbury University to explore the possibilities of Virtual Worlds and Web3.D technology.
This grid is currently running the OpenSimulator software, and utilises the high-speed KAREN (Kiwi Advanced Research and Education Network) connectivity between New Zealand’s tertiary institutions, and research organisations.

Interior details with shadows shown in the ulttra-high primmed OpenSim region of Shengri La Chamomile. Chamomile is currently at 130,000 prims for a single OpenSim region, and continued development of these largescale builds will help further dirve the development of largescale grids to enable a federated universe of virtual world grids. Designed and Developed by Shenlei Winkler, CEO of the Fashion Research Institute, hosting and hardware is being provided for this region by the Intel Corporation as part of a year-long collaboration between FRI and Intel Labs.
