Time and Memory by elmur will be presented this 19th august 2010 at the opening of the Noorderzon Performing Arts Festival in Groningen, Holland. elmur will be presenting an audiovisual LIVE performance made with archive heritage film material from the beginning of the 20th Century and accompanied by an original sound track composed by Manelet.
Time & Memory was be presented inside the context of Format GAVA curated by Frank Schaap (SF&L) and Rene Duursma (GAVA), at the Muziekkoepel of the Plantsoen. From this first public presentation till the end of 2011 elmur.net will be calling on time & memory videos to complete the presented movie. The train station is much more than just a departure or arrival point. It is also a connection and an excellent place podium
for unexpected activities such as a festival.
In 2009, train at Leiden Central Station launched the first edition of the NS Try Out Festival. Meanwhile, the festival has developed into one of the largest free live events in the Netherlands. For three days, four stations are a festival stage for artistic talent.
The festival has a broad programming in music, song, film, literature, master classes and events.

His series of photographic/video works deal with memory that comes into being between dis-location and de-location. From the series of photographic works of the abandoned land near airports to the videos that documents the artist＇s attempt to transfer sand from his garden to what he calls "non-places", for Kim, memory is the space whether the dualities between reality and the imaginary can be reconfigured.

Born in Tokyo, 1980
Sennen Gaho (One Thousand Years Diary) is a serial manga that Kyo started in her own blog in July 2004. The story focuses on random moments in the daily life of a high school boy and girl with touches of fantasy. Her work are generally about ordinary things such as “flowers,” “stationeries,” and “water,” which function as “mitate” (the technique of layering meanings for example, by giving a substitution of the intended subject by something simpler) or “solving puzzles.”

The group I started for open calls for art. So we can all find and list shows that any one can participate in has become a little to cluttered with non related postings.
If you are a member, I would like you hear what you have to say.
I started the group with the intention that it was only for invite flyers for show that we could send our art work to. be it a free giveaway show or a gallery show. and postings of the art that you have sent to a show.
I would like to know if I should start deleting non related postings and that kind of thing, getting it back to the original intention or leave it as is.

Thanx to elmur.net friend and user Janno Bergmann, the last 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31. July 2010 at 16.00 hours elmur.net collective movie will be screened in Pärnu, ESTONIA.
The screenings will take place at Port Artur shopping center at the large video screens inside and outside the building, also on the small plasma screens which are around the building.
The collective film which will be screened includes more than 60 video creations from more than 45 diferent authors from all around the world. CONGRATULATIONS USERS!

Inspiration shows a collective movie build with textures and sensations, visual and auditory tones, which stimulate our senses and spirits until the door towards our own imaginary world opens up.
A collective visual collage which talks in diferent shapes and aesthetics about one single idea: Inspiration, refering to it as the action of stimulating an idea by means of the activation of our own imaginary machinery. A visual meditation about the relation between Man and the univers, spirit, body and shape. The inner and the outside worlds altered by means of perspectives, textures, velocity and motion.

"Is a regional design competition focusing on clean air in two of Chicago’s most affected neighborhoods- Pilsen and Little Village. Poor air quality is an issue that affects all Chicagoans. However, residents of Pilsen and Little Village live below two coal powered plants that regularly emit lead and other toxins into the air. High rates of asthma and other air-quality illnesses are pressing concerns for the residents of these neighborhoods and for much of Chicago..."
