Harold Sakuishi
Born in Aichi prefecture, 1969
BECK was serialized in a monthly boys magazine for a period of nine years between 1999 and 2008. The story revolves around the protagonist Koyuki, an average young boy with no redeeming quality nor particular interest, who meets Minami Ryusuke, a guitarist who influences him to start a rock band with his friends, through which he explores his latent talent as a vocalist. Sakuishi takes advantage of the silent nature of manga and encourages the reader to imagine the “depicted sounds” by employing onomatopoeia or using an entire page to boldly depict the performers. He also depicts the expressions of the performers and the audiences alternately between the stage and the stands to give the live feeling of oneness between them.

"INSPIRATION" elmur.net · 2011
Through the eyes of 10 authors from 7 countries and cultures elmur.net proposes an inner journey into the world of imagination.
Inspiration shows a collective movie build with textures and sensations, visual and auditory tones, which stimulate our senses and spirits until the door towards our own imaginary world opens up.
A collective visual collage which talks in diferent shapes and aesthetics about one single idea: Inspiration, refering to it as the action of stimulating an idea by means of the activation of our own imaginary machinery. A visual meditation about the relation between Man and the univers, spirit, body and shape. The inner and the outside worlds altered by means of perspectives, textures, velocity and motion.
INSPIRATION Collective movie presented at IMAGINARIUM II in Gallerie Wedding - Berlin
Wakaki Tamiki
Born in Osaka prefecture, 1972
The World God Only Knows started as a series for a weekly manga magazine in 2008. Katsuragi Keima is a god in the world of love simulation games (gal games), who is deeply attached to girls in the world of games, and downright disappointed with the real world. Essentially a love comedy but on the meta-level, this work portrays contemporary situations such as the relationship between fantasy and real life in manga, the reality of characters, the concept of “moe” and the boom of love simulation games, and thereby embraces complex forms of manga expression and themes that have surfaced since the 2000s.

elmur.net and A.A.A. present a monthly evening of experimental videos, clips and moving images in relation to "Everything Else!"
Is everything connected to everything else? What is "the other" and what is "me"? Is it another language, culture or point of view? Is it something I am not interested in or may I just don't know about it?... Is the everything else weird, mysterious, ignored... or beautiful, curious and inspiring? Is it out there or is it inside? What is it what we call the "Everything Else"?
