The Riot Act by Rob Johnston (Breathe Out Theatre), starring Christopher Ward and Jake Talbot, 20 July 2019 at Manchester Central Library.
On August 12th 1842, just 23 years after The Peterloo Massacre, Lancashire cotton-workers again marched in protest at appalling pay and conditions.
Reaching Preston's Lune Street the protesters were confronted by the authorities and read The Riot Act.

IFLA promotes Open Access, but it's own publications are costly. I would have no problem with high prices IF the authors were paid. But no they are not, i was told. So librarians are paying 130€ for a book that was written by volunter/volunteers. Come on!!
The private owners of the beach chalets and caravans at Snettisham beach clearly really don't like the public anywhere near them. Much of the area is registered common land - the parishioners have had a right to collect single from the 'shingle fields' since the 18th century. This is now CROW Act open access land. Unfortunately there are exceptions including land within 20 metres of dwellings, caravans, or other buildings. This means that much of the area is off limits to the public. The sign also indicates that there are no public right of way through the area. The presence of the RSPB's own notice as well, suggests there is some friction between visitors to the reserve and the residents.
In December 2010 Snettisham Parish Council submitted a claim to record a public footpath along this route.

Whilst I approve of Open Access for walkers, I hate the use of tracks by off-road vehicles. both 2 and 4-wheeled. They add noise and danger, destroy the peace, and cause erosion.
Terracotta Female Figure is open for viewing in the Metropolitan Museum in gallery 151. These pieces were sculpted in and around ca. 1400–1300 B.C. during the Helladic IIIA period. The sculptures accentuate the curves of the three women's bodies and reflect light on the clothing possibly worn. The sculptures are all formed out of terracotta and decorated with painted designs. Their dimensions are H: 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm).Their credit line is from the Fletcher Fund in 1935 and the accession number is 35.11.18

Heart arrhythmia, also known as irregular heartbeat or cardiac dysrhythmia, is a group of conditions where the heartbeat is irregular, too slow, or too fast.
The heart rate that is too fast – above 100 beats per minute in adults – is called tachycardia, and a heart rate that is too slow – below 60 beats per minute – is called bradycardia

Gold cup is from the Late Helladic I. Is according to the museum From the ca. 1550–1500 B.C. and from the Helladic, Mycenaean Culture. This gold cup very small at just Height: 2 x 3 1/4 in. (5.1 x 8.3 cm).It is a flat bottomed cup that flare out into a rimmed lip. This piece was a Gift of Walter C. Baker, 1961 to the Met museum and is located at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 151. This image is in public domain and can be seen on the met museums website.

Stained will be performed at The King's Ams in Salford and The way Theatre and Studio in Atherton 15-20 July.
