This picture was taken for the Principles of Design and shows the hand, then the basketball, and the hoop.
decided to try out the quilting on some of the left-over squares, and then decided to just self-bind and declare it my first mini-quilt! they're totally addictive! if i wasn't totally swamped with work now, i know i'd be making more tonight!
and now that poor petra isn't around to help model the quilts, i have to settle for baby caleb trying to grab it away from me...
One big hop and she was back on the log.

Back of the quilt for Sarah. We both love the gnomes, so it was a lot of fun to use some fabric from my stash. The backing is otherwise Kona cotton white and the hand-stitched binding is a polka dots print that I have had for years. Machine quilted squares in squares to frame the ones on the front. It was quite easy to get attached to this mini, so I'm very happy knowing that it went to a good home. :-)

The ginnel at the back of our house. I liked the sky, although I shouldn't as it's a shocking level of light pollution.
The cutest gnomes in pink! Brand new, unwashed 100% cotton PJ's ready to be cut and shared. I can cut 10" squares or will try to get whatever size you need. Just let me know!
