Oh dear..! A little unplanned shopping trip... Vinyl, dresses and shoes.. a perfect day!!
..I really should stay away from Cardiff so near to pay day..!!💋
I overheard the female drive on her mobile exclaiming that “she’d meant to check her brakes”- baby- that was not the problem- you didn’t get your self into the Alignment Shop soon enough!♂️😙
Taking pictures of Dutler's rotosphere, the back of the camera fell off. They just don't make cheap plastic Chinese cameras the way they used to.

I thought I would walk around the block, in search of a daily pic. Well I didn't have to go far. This car is parked outside us and next door.
Its a brand new Audi A4 and also has a flat back tire, but not another mark or scratch on it. Several of the neighbours came to have a look and none of us knew to whom it belongs, or when it arrived.
We do live in Chestnut and Acorn alley, and yes they do thwack down from time to time, but I've never seen damage like this from a mere nut. So did the driver upset someone ... we did wonder if there was a body in the boot, but we couldn't detect a pong.

2nd Place in "Oops .." BSB Photo Challenge! [May 16 - 22, 2008]
This is Nanna Rakel, me her and Ásdís Inga, who did the hair and makeup, got together for a quick photoshoot. We just wanted beauty shots, something easy but when Nanna had this makeup on, she kind of reminded me of a shot one of my all time favorite photographers, David LaChapelle, took of Lil Kim. Nanna had never seen that shot but despite that I think she got pretty close the look we had in mind, I love her expression in this shot :)
4 lights + 1 silver reflector for this one. Big softbox over me and a silver reflector under her chin, two monolights with honeycombs aimed at her head and one shooting at the backround for the gradient effect.
Here is Davids shot of Lil Kim.
Almost two years into my 6 month experiment with my iPhone and I still can get some interesting “mistakes”

Wrong timing! The stone meant to skim across the water (by the boy),was released too soon! He hit his girlfriend by accident!
I was shooting them skimming stones and caught the photo by accident as well!

Well I went out the other night with my camera. Thought I would brave the cold, and the wind, brrrrrrr.
There was a big moon out and I saw it next to our City Hall.
I heard the shutter release when I picked up the camera.
Actually, I like this one better than the others I took...........:):)
Thanks for looking, etc.:)
I love popping fresh peas straight from the pod and this is the first ones I've bought this year. I was trying to photograph the "perfect peas in a pod" shot, but I went through most of the bag and I'm afraid they just weren't photogenic enough. I promise I'll get more tomorrow and diligently work my way through them, looking for the perfect shot.
Totally not what I was going for, but I really like the results. Fun with Water, Dixie cups, and a BB gun!
Have a great Sunday everyone :-)
I posted the original in the comments.

Dutch Farmers
I drove quite a ways out in the country today thinking I would shoot the sunset. Seeing the sun has become rare lately!!. Saw a great lone tree silhouetted and pulled over to the side of the road. Guess I miscalculated by a couple of inches and the damn car started sliding sideways into the ditch!! Did I mention it was -12degrees C and with the wind chill more like -20C!! That's damn COLD!!! I have to admit, there was a bit of cursing going on!! Really nice guy stopped even though there wasn't anything he could do, he called "his friend with a tow truck" and ended up staying with me until the tow truck arrived. Another nice guy stopped and offerred to go for coffee for us while we waited. I was very impressed with the kindness of these two men. Didn't take long and in the meantime made another friend with a farmer's dog who came out to see what was going on. When the truck arrived and I got back in my car, the dog jumped in with me and I had a hell of a time getting him out. So...no shooting done as the sun was gone by the time I got out of the ditch. Made the poor tow truck driver wait while I took a couple of shots so it wouldn't be a total lost cause. Not a great shot but hey... sh#@ happens! I will be leaving tomorrow for a couple of days. I will catch up with everyone when I get back. Hope you all have a great weekend!!
