9/27/08 – Today FGR invaded the A Story in 3 Parts group. Sure the story is something most of us have experienced.
There is something I find alluring in dying flowers. I'm not obsessed with death, in any way shape or form. I just find the flowers still possess their beauty, even in death, and decay. The colours have more meaning. It's like they're fighting to keep relevant, to, not become obsolete. I arranged the flowers (cut shorter) from the previous pictures, in a circular pattern on the bistro table in my backyard, then added 4 freshly cut blossoms from around the house. Can anyone name the 4 flowers in the centre?

Yeah. I’m just trying to loose some weight while also maintaining the feeling that I am not giving up on any yummy foods. Kinda hard...
If anyone else is going through a diet, efforts to stay fit, exercising, etc please DM me. I would love to share motivational stories with you! (*^ω^)人(^ω^*)

Three images in a row of a baby on the dinner table at the church Christmas party. I was sitting across from her and could not resist getting a few photos. This is the first of the three.

I have been starting my day out with Mary Oliver, reading her poems in the wee hours of dawn. I am going to try and keep this up for the whole month of May.
“Hello, sun in my face. Hello you who made the morning and spread it over the fields...Watch, now, how I start the day in happiness, in kindness.”
― Mary Oliver
Imagine going to a play where Act I takes place in two different locations simultaneously--a church in Northeast Portland and an elk ranch in Molalla. Then audience and cast from both locations take buses and meet in Oregon City for Act II, a wedding reception, where you are one of the guests. Urban and rural, family and history--cell phone calls to the audience on the other bus, music, a reception dinner featuring elk stew and strawberry shortcake--this isn't your usual night at the theatre.
