Went with my Grandma Sadie to her High School Reunion over the weekend. Actually it was a "classless" reunion. The school is so small that they have one reunion every year for anyone who has ever graduated. She graduated in 1941 and the oldest graduate graduated in 1938. The whole entire school district is in two buildings so 3rd grade and 10th grade are right next door to each other.

This was shot with a borrowed Pentax k-5 and the 100mm 2.8 macro wr.
The bloom of the Morning Glory only lasts for a day. Sadly this one opened on a rainy day and will never seen the sun.

Reached Kumarakom, but the only way to reach our hotel, Coconut lagoon kumarakom, was through a boat..
Kumarakom is a tourist village in Kottayam district, Kerala, India. It is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala and is probably the backwater capital of the country too :)

The original Blanco County courthouse in the center of downtown - Blanco was only the county seat until 1890, when it was wrested away by Johnson City.
Blanco, Blanco County, Texas - A little less than an hour north of San Antonio, where Highway 281 and the Blanco River meet. The town of Pittsburgh was first formed on the south bank of the river in 1858, but a few years later when the county was organized, the new town and county seat of Blanco was platted on the north side of the river.
The small Hill Country town grew, and a grand courthouse was built in the town square - however it was only used for a few short years. In 1890, Johnson City a few miles to the north managed to wrest the county seat away from Blanco, and they are still bitter about that to this day.
Blanco's other main claim to fame is the Blanco State Park, covering a couple miles of the riverbank just south of town (pictures of this park can be found in a separate photoset). Today, Blanco is home to about 1500 residents, still a relatively sleepy town in the shadow of the major city to the south. Pictures taken March 31, 2008 and October 22, 2008.

not only has my photo stream been lacking in some serious Keiko lately, but i've been lacking in the Keiko-love department myself :( i don't know why but i've been so out of it with her, this was the first time she's had her clothes changed in well over a month, probably over two. i decided to put her in her old wig (which i had trimmed the bangs on because eboni was wearing it) for some nostalgic Keiko buuuut, idk.
i think it's time she gets a makeover.
also crap lighting because we've been having crap weather. it's super freezing cold but it refuses to snow so we're getting disgusting rain instead. i decided to dress Keiko up in something summery to try and make me feel better about the weather i guess lol.
i also got super lazy with the editing on these photos.
i'll try and take not disgusting pictures soon but i make no promises.

The former "Australian Liquorice Company" factory, located in Brunswick, Melbourne was a major confectionery landmark founded in 1922.
