A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you.
I did a lot of online class stuff today (Geometry) and when I was done I was very mad because I only missed one question on my test :c even worse, I changed the answer from the right one...
After I was done I unearthed some old photoalbums (oh my geez, does my mother keep everything? and took this picture out. It's hard to say how old I am in this picture because I was a month early when I was delivered...so I was small for a very long time. But my mothers hair is not cut...so it was sometime before February 1994. I was born September 1993. My mom got her Polaroid camera from her mom on her birthday one year. The photo was taken by my dad.
I plan to do another shot with the Polaroids, (there are a lot of them, especially of me...being the first child and all.)

I used masking for the trees and also used distress inks and perfect pearls to paint them. Learned this in one of Jennifer's online classes. I also shook some of the distress inks/perfect pearls on the blue distress background...just a touch to add interest. Hard to tell, but they have a nice shimmer on them. I also added glossy accents to the windows on the house and to the pumpkin.

I took these hand close-ups for my online class students. Although the techniques for hands are very simple, they can be very difficult to get right.
