Got my first pair of TOMS in the mail this week, and my friends were right, they are comfortable!
I like the concept of TOMS, if you order one, they'll supply one person in need with a pair of new shoes. So, I'm going to be buying more TOMS from now on!

song of the day - get up - mayday parade
another day. i got out of bed around noon then i racked some leaves :P i like racking leaves. i watched the lions football game and actually enjoyed it. im starting to understand football now too. then my mom and i went to lougheed to do something with phones and i got a new jacket. then my dad and i watched the pomo game to scope out the coquitlam metro ford team cause we are playing them next week. yeah so it was a good day. i love my toms soo much. they are so comfy

I got my new Cordones in the mail today! It was such a long process to get them. I first ordered a pair of women's, because they didn't sell the style I wanted in Mens shoes. Those arrived a few days before Thanksgiving, but when I opened them, they were covered in gold glitter. Not what I was looking for. I sent them back and got these, my 8th pair. It is a good thing that a well-known brand is dedicated to charity. The charitable brand TOMS has been famous for its shoe program; for each pair of TOMS’ shoes, TOMS donated a pair of shoes to a child in need. And now the brand is adding fashion sunglasses to their product line with the mission called One to One. What a joy!

I feel that I didn't quite nail this shot (the way I imagined it) .. it's just missing something.
This was a recent project in my Photoshop class. We were given an assignment to create a mock movie poster. I decided to create the TOMS shoes documentary, by using some images I shot at an event where the founder of TOMS, Blake Mycoskie lectured about Social Entrepreneurship and how the company was created. My work is on the top right side of the poster, and the rest of the images can be found on Google.
