I can't tell you how happy we are, I really can't. I am humbled by the miracle that is life.
oh what a ride this'll be!

a window by the sink is so nice isn't it? it would be great if the view was of the
mountains, the sea or the woods but instead I get to gaze at a bare fence.
still, I do enjoy the lovely light the sinks catches there. the right lighting can
even make some boiled eggs look rather nice.

have a lovely wednesday!
Best intentions exist solely it seems for the purpose of being cast aside. I had every intention of taking in the Rosalie Gascoigne retrospective at the NGV sooner than I did. I caught it today, with four days remaining and considered myself lucky indeed.

Yes, I did a facedown today! It's for David/pikespice's birthday because that's what he picked for his theme today over at We're Here!
If you follow his stream (and if you don't, you really should), you would know that he loves bowling almost as much as he loves Hooters and Eva Longoria.
So, David, this is my birthday tribute to you! Happy Birthday!! I hope you're having a wonderful day today!!

So I'm walking down the street, right? And I see this quiet little scene reflected in an office window. I turn to look at the actual scene, but for some reason it's not as interesting as the reflection. So I do what anybody would do. Which is stand on the sidewalk and take a photograph of an office window, and hope the people in the adjoining office don't completely freak out and call security.
Noodling around town yesterday I found myself in an odd third floor cafeteria. This man was reading the final pages of his book, and it must have been enthralling because his body was incredibly tense. I was really struck by the geometry of the scene and since my camera was sitting on the table, I just turned it slightly and released the shutter.
I intended to show him the photo and ask his permission to post it here, but I didn't want to interrupt him so close to the end of his book. The next time I looked up from my own book, he was gone.
