Doing some processing on an older image. I took an HDR and ran it through OnOne Effects and then added a bit of texture. Just trying some new things.

We went to Paris for a small w/e with the family. I took time for some a photo outing. Weather was not nice and I did not had all my gear with me. However the Sony a7II did a great work and helped me a bit. Comments welcomed
I have only just begun to create cyanotype prints and I am loving the whole process. I think the prints, in various stages of devolpment, make fantastic subjects to photograph.

An ancient abandoned bus was part of an enormous collection of vehicles and other junk strewn across several acres in a remote area in eastern Oregon.
Earliest surviving photo was captured in Philly in autumn 1893. This sign marks the spot.
Would have been great if the city added a copy of that photo on an info board.
Captured with iPhone on our day in Philly in mid Sept. for the 100x2015 urban details theme.
Edited on the iPad first in Snapseed and then into Perfect BW app for black and white processing.
I really do wish OnOne would update this app. I have enjoyed using it over the years. Not even sure if it is available at the app store anymore.
I still use it on occasions but the resolution is much reduced on the 5s images.
Prints at original captures at 300dpi are roughly 8x10 plus a few extra pixels.
Perfect BW output at 300 dpi produces just a 5.12x6.827 print.
Recent storms and floods ripped trees from river banks and the ocean shores. Who knows where this tree came from and where it will be tossed next.

The old Grass Valley Methodist Church is reportedly one of the most photographed abandoned churches in Oregon. The church probably was constructed before 1900 but the exact year of construction is not known. Formal services have not been held in the building since the 1940's but people have gotten married here in recent years.
This is almost the same shot as Digging It except the focus is on the nearest part of the flower. Different flower, too. Glad I got these shots when I did as the flowers have declined since then. Partly natural aging. Partly intense heat wave.

Inside the 4-H exhibit building. I am looking a little more bald than usual with this exhibit.
(edit) This is not my exhibit. Zoom in on the entry form, and you can see whose entry this is. The Voigtlander 58mm did a nice job on keeping the text nice and crisp.

This is part of my windmill hunting project. I drove 34 min from my house only to take the picture of these 3 windmills nearby Alkamaar. This is the Strijkmolen I te Rustenburg. It is a polder windmill built in the 1864. The night was okay and light a bit dark. This is a HDR rendering of 6 shots 0.5 sops each. Comments welcomed.
