for those in Denver who know about photography in this amusement park, I didn't know that "real cameras" were not allowed - I walked around there for an hour - set up on a tripod - zoom - the works - then, as I was leaving, they called the Denver Police to take my camera. Anyway, was I under arrest if I was to just walk out?...no ....so we just walked out.
A friend operated this dairy farm for maybe 45 years, then retired. The sheds and machinery were leased to another farmer, but he operated a few years then couldn't make it. It all sits idle now. We were on the front lawn by the old house one evening when this scene presented itself. The gloomy atmosphere brought on a bit of sad nostalgia that the photo probably fails to communicate.
