The Collective describes itself as the world's largest scheme dedicated to 'co-living'. Just like Spotify-users rent access to music instead of buying records, people can rent access to living worldwide. The design comprises shared areas that promote a communal lifestyle. Facilities in the building, like a spa and restaurant, encourage residents to come together and interact in the hope of establishing a sense of community.
