This young woman who worked for the tribe helped us out a good deal with our feedback session, making phone calls right and left in between counting Bingo money. I am very grateful.

Ballard's Inn on Block Island, Rhode Island, USA is one of my friend, Liz's, must-see places. Had dinner there on August 17, 2014. Delicious food & great service! Liz had the stuffed lobster--her favorite!

Despite having been based in Copenhagen for more than 9 years. I'm terrible about getting out and showcasing my adopted city. It's beautiful, I walk it every day, and love sharing it with people. But, I'm very bad about editing the shots, or shooting new spots. Still, occasionally I manage it. In this batch, you'll find a mixture of shots from September 2020.

The White House skyscraper, inspired by American office buildings and built in 1898 in the French Chateau style is evidence of Rotterdam's rapid growth and success.
It was at the time of completion the tallest office building in Europe, with a height of 45 m.
When I booked my trip to Oman I had no idea what to expect. Friends said it was an incredible spot to visit. Photos of the empty quarter and other regions looked stunning. The general advice I got was that it was a) expensive and b) safe.
During my 6 day road trip at the end of 2019 and start of 2020 I explored the north eastern corner of the country.
I found the prices to be comfortable so long as you were flexible and had your own car. More than that, the beauty of the landscapes was stunning, and the locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
These are highlights from that trip.

In the Old Harbor (Oosterdok) of Amsterdam, you can find the Nederlands Scheepvaartmuseum (The Netherlands Shipping Museum). It has interesting collections of items related to Dutch maritime history, including maps, globes and atlases, model ships, nautical instruments, paintings and prints.
Among the boats moored along the quays is the "Amsterdam", a replica of an 18th century merchant ship belonging to the Dutch East India Company. Visitors can gain insight into the crew's living conditions and way of life on board ship, when a series of scenes are acted out (April to October only).
