Bought this for 2 Euros. I don't think I will ever use it. It still is a nice little thing to take pictures of.
Saw this camera laying about at an antiques dealer so I snapped a quick pic then threw some effects in for the age. This camera was first constructed in 1967 and according to some research lasted until 1999 when it was discontinued. It has 3 zones for focusing, automatic film catridge loading, a motor drive, auto exposure and the film told the camera it`s asa speed. Automatically rewound the film too when the roll was at it`s end. I still like digital better.

I got this old Canon AE-1 camera out to clean it up to show a friend at work. I took it to work and was showing it off and a young fellow employee walked up and asked, "Is that a camera? How does it work?" "Yes it is a camera and you put film in it", I said. He asked, "How do you see the pictures on the back?" I had to laugh at that one. Cameras like this are what seperates the boys from the men.
My step father gave this one to me several years ago as a present, although I have always been a Nikon fan. I have been shooting and having fun with it today. I believe film will make a come back one day. I keep my Canon and Minolta clean and ready and yeah, I still shoot film...
Last winter I took my first camera, a 65 year old Voigtlander loaded with 20 year old film for it's last shoot. About six persons used the camera on this shoot. These are my shots.

Bought two of these including 2 sets of 28/50/135mm lenses for 20 Euros.
One of the cameras is in good condition, the other appears to be working but a fungus resides in its viewfinder.
