One year ago we rearranged the house and I lost my photo wall. *sigh*
fear comes screaming at me from far away,
where i stashed it oh, so long ago
and the pain that ignites my belly,
my tender overwhelmed mind, blinds my
inner voice.
and it feels like i am drowning.
reaching for any sound, any vice to awaken what once was.
life was running smoothly, life has now become sticky
and i fear sleep once again. and i crave comfort
once again.
those nagging, pesky whispers of doubt line up at my bedside
yet again.
and i await them with a list of to-do's and armed with a cocktail or...
two.
and in the darkness the taste of irrational fear overpowers the very rational taste
of toothpaste.

Little session with homeboy "Higher" full on colour madness.
Top day even with the rain.
Always top to bottom....PAM
This cake references the first episode of Family Guy where the Kool-aid man breaks through the court room wall and shouts "oh yeah," like he always did in his old commercials.
Atop Mount Yudal, Mokpo, South Korea.
The large characters on top are Chinese characters and the smaller characters right below the top line are Korean (Hangul). I don't know what the Chinese characters say, but the Korean letters read "Mount Yudal."
Koreans use their own unique alphabet called Hangul. It is considered to be one of the most efficient alphabets in the world and has garnered unanimous praise from language experts for its scientific design and excellence.
Hangul was created under King Sejong during the Choson Dynasty (1393-1910). in 1446, the first Korean alphabet was proclaimed under the original name Hunmin chong-um, which literally meant "the correct sounds for the instruction of the people."
King Sejong, the creator of Hangul, is considered to be one of the greatest rulers in the history of Korea. Highly respected for his benevolent disposition and diligence, King Sejong was also a passionate scholar whose knowledge and natural talent in all fields of study astounded even the most learned experts.
During his reign, King Sejong always deplored the fact that the common people, ignorant of the complicated Chinese characters that were being used by the educated, were not able to read and write. He understood their frustration in not being able to read or to communicate their thoughts and feelings in written words.
Always nice to open vinyl in the morning.

Another lovely booth babe at the Arnold Classic 2009. She was giving away coupons for a free "Oh Yeah!" Bar. No, I don't recall how the bar tasted, it was just too long ago.
My new ride.... YEAH RIGHT! :-) I'd be in jail in under a week...
You wanna hear the perfect song for this car?
Click here... www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q7FFjUpVLg (Little tip, open it in a separate window and stare at the car while you listen... the video kind of sux)

Looking in the mirror I am beginning to love what I see again.
Thomas Jefferson said,
“When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.”
but Jean Toomer believed
“We learn the rope of life by untying its knots.”
Victor Hugo had his own "twist" ~
“The greatest blunders, like the thickest ropes, are often compounded of a multitude of strands. Take the rope apart, separate it into the small threads that compose it, and you can break them one by one. You think, "That is all there was!"
Henri Frederic Armiel said,
“A man must be able to cut a knot, for everything cannot be untied; he must know how to disengage what is essential from the detail in which it is enwrapped, for everything cannot be equally considered; in a word, he must be able to simplify his duties, his business and his life.”
Having been tied up in knots with so many limitations the past few months, and also experiencing painful knots in my muscles, I look at these ropes, ponder the quotations above and think I agree with Armiel that we must learn how to SIMPLIFY our lives!
There are times to "HANG ON" but there are also times to "LET LOOSE" . . . I'm leaving the dock and going for a sail! Wanna come?

Ok, so, for everyone who lives outside of San Francisco in this country, what are some of the things people think of San Francisco? That we're all gay, that we all hate God, that we have orgies in the street and smear blood on our faces and steal and shoplift and jaywalk. Well, for such a godless city, why the hell do we have a 100 foot tall cross. I mean, if you have a 100 foot tall on your tallest mountain let me know. Ok?
