Not much else to say other than this was one heck of a marathon across Saskatchewan. Whereas we failed to shoot the province's elevators last year, we were absolutely perfect this year.
As a bonus on the final day we treated ourselves to CN's transcontinental mainline, pictured here at Semans, SK. A westbound intermodal screams through town with a nice surprise up front.

I have recovered from my election hangover, I think. I am just so disappointed by the Canadian's who were stuck to their couches instead of voting in our Federal Election. `I am proud to say that I am from Vancouver Island where we had 67% of our population out to the polls, just above the average 61% for the rest of Canada.
I will have to find another place to put my hope for action on climate change instead of in our government. I am not interested in goals that won't be reached for 40 years. I want action today.
This is an old(ish) picture from Easter when Scott and I went to Alberta to visit his family on their farm.
Although not really diagnosed, I think I have a touch of Agoraphobia. I remember driving across the praries with my family on a cross-country road trip and after the second day of seeing nothing but wheat and clouds I started getting quite anxious and paranoid. I think it's from living tucked into the mountains my whole life, I'm used to having that huge Rocky Mountain security blanket always looming over my shoulder :)
I'm missing home. So much so that I spontaneously booked flights to Toronto over Easter weekend in hopes of spending a holiday with my family for the first time in a couple of years! I'm flying standby and so far the odds aren't looking great, but I'm going to pack my suitcase, head to the airport, and wish for the best. Everyone please cross your fingers for me! :)
