Owners/builders Charlie Weiss and Katharine Lawrence built their LEED platinum certified home with the comfort is mind as well. The upstairs floors are locally harvested hemlock certified by The Forest Stewadship Council. The window sils are spruce from urban salvage. Windows are energy efficient, argon filled double panes with fiberglas frames. Non-toxic, low- and no-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints and finishes are used throughout the house.

i have to cut out all the charms and honeybuns, so this will be slow-going, but i just wanted to get enough cut out to do one block. :)
We had to replace the entire rear window assembly which was damaged in an ill-conceived air conditioning attempt by the prior owner.
