Regardless, this scene here depicts San Francisco summer nights. There are tons of food festivals. Granted, this isn't entirely a fest since these vendors setup here every weekend, but a crowd/ music / and GREAT food is exactly how one should think of San Francisco summers. There's Always something going on.

Owners/builders Charlie Weiss and Katharine Lawrence built their LEED platinum certified home with the comfort is mind as well. The upstairs floors are made with Hemlock locally harvested and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Lovely Sol, Ginger´s mom, washes the outer fruit skin off, dries the beans, roasts them in the wood fired oven and serves the most amazing coffee every morning for breakfast!
Lush Gelato used one of North Berkeley's "Off The Grid" trucks tonight ... and I got to take pictures of happy people!
En esta visita a USA tenÃamos 2 objetivos "eatwise": desayunar en diners y comer streetfood. El tema del desayuno fue un éxito rotundo (algunos dÃas mejor que otros, ains Pinecrest <3), el otro un poco más limitado pero también porque apenas estuvimos 2 dÃas en SF y uno de ellos tenÃamos excursión, asà que lo podemos considerar éxito :)
Me hice una lista en twitter con todos los foodtrucks de la zona para ver si alguno nos pillaba cerca, pero al final la clave fue la app de Off the Grid (es una especie de "festival de foodtrucks", pero lo hay prácticamente a diario y en varias zonas: hay dÃas que hay más camiones y otros que hay menos). La noche antes vi que el dÃa que Ãbamos a Alcatraz habÃa un Off the Grid cerca del Pier 33 asà que tras la visita a The Rock para allá que nos fuimos. HabÃa 3 foodtrucks y pillamos comida en 2:
- The Boneyard (para los amantes de la carne :P): nachos (con salsa barbacoa, sriracha mayo, brisket y guacamole) para compartir y Texas Philly para Salva.
- Ebbett's Good to Go: cuban sandwich para mÃ.
Bua, taaaaaaan bueno!!!
