Owners/builders Charlie Weiss and Katharine Lawrence used the latest in energy efficient appliances in their new LEED certified home, but also built the laundry room to allow easy access to the outside for drying laundry when the weather allows.

365 Project Day 223: August 11, 2011
Tasty food at the Haight Off the Grid this evening. The dinner was good, as were the cupcakes. Apparently they're so good they need to be photographed. I spent a few minutes taking photos of people while trying not to freeze to death after dinner. Looking at the photo now, it seems everyone except the girls with the cupcake is staring at me disapprovingly. Am I really that creepy when I get the camera out?

I'm working on a project called Sustainable Howe Sound with the David Suzuki Foundation (sustainablehowesound.ca/).
From the website we're building... "Life in the waters of Howe Sound is rebounding after decades of harm from industrial activity.
