First try at offsetting tessellation
I wanted to capture an abstraction of direction shape and line here. I didn't want a full focus so the depth of field was narrowed and brought internally. Offset circular repetition alludes to spiraling out of view.

those who know me know that travel is a huge part of my life. but it also worries me that all the air travel produces huge amounts of emissions, so i decided to buy carbon offsets for all the flying i did this year.
my flights this year:
26,893 mi
7,866 lb CO2
i bought 8,000 lb of CO2 offsets, so i'll probably be good even with any xmas travel. :)

This offset umbrella tilts and rotates—without having to be moved at the base—to keep you sheltered from direct sun. And there's no center pole to hog precious room in the shade! Easy to raise and lower, it has a 10' diam., spun polyester canopy; metal pole/base has a black painted finish.
A nice classic off-set smoker from Nette Lette. Wanted a simple off-set smoker and thought of importing a Yoder or something similar. Research brought me to Nette Lette and their classic smoker with 8mm thick steel.
They were willing to make some changes for me, which is always nice to have some personalization.
I've chosen for a thick heat-plate (heat distributor photo 27) and not sure if it would affect the flow of the smoker. The first
Babybacks turned out well, but I definitely need more experience, so coming time a lot meat for friend, family and neighbors.
