Since there is no boardwalk, I was worried there would be nothing to do. I could not have been more wrong. There were so many shops, eateries, parks, flowers, and things to see. I became fascinated with the architecture and photographed every house in a 5 mile radius. On the beach, there was a roaming gang of giant seagulls that loot from people's bags. Also visited other parts of the Cape, which will be in separate albums as this one will already be insanely large.

Ernst & Young, in partnership with Orange County United Way’s Youth Career Connections, closed down their offices on October 6th to volunteer their time, energy and skills to their local community to build a better working world as part of their national #ConnectDay! Working with our local AUSHD school, Savanna High School E&Y volunteers provided interview and resume skills to 42 high school students, helping to prepare them for the next step after high school. These opportunities to connect professionals with our young individuals provides a valuable experience that they will career with them into the future as Ruendy, a junior at Savanna stated, “Thank you for taking the time to come to our school and inform us on our future!”
Just playing around with a Sigma 10-20mm lens I rented for the week. This is where the magic happens!
Magill campus room c1-83.
I chose this room because it's my favourite computer room, there's so many computers to choose from and the black blue and white colour scheme is very mentally stimulating.
Title: Clients
Date: 1992
Location: Lakeland, FL
Description: The sculpture "Clients" was commissioned by the State of Florida for the Curtis Peterson State Office Building in downtown Lakeland. This work was done by artist Meredith William King and completed in 1987. The sculpture consists of stick figures, six adults and three children, arranged in four groups. One group has an adult leading two children by the hand. Another group has one adult leading one child by the hand. A third group shows two adults facing each other, in conversation, one leaning against a support. Two adults walking separately, one with a cane, complete the total sculpture. The groups are spaced about six to twelve feet apart. They can be viewed forward or backward and indicate a coming and going. They depict a range of "clients" from old to young, from healthy to disabled. The adult figures are 12-13 feet high and the children 6 feet. The sculpture was supposed to be in keeping with the function of the building which housed staff from the Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.
