Years ago Warrnambool had both Council and Shire offices. The Shire was abolished in 1994 and the building was taken over by South West Water, which later bacame Wannon Water. This bulding is now for sale and new offices are being completed at Gateway Plaza, east Warrnambool.

This was where the Georgia Railway & Power Company which ran Atlanta's streetcar system was headquartered. They added the top two stories in the 1940's. There's a connecting bridge behind it to the old Atlanta Birmingham and Atlantic Railroad building that faces Walton. I've always loved the old parking deck further west on Marietta St where the car tailends hang over the sidewalk!
