Long time hair stylist and coloring expert Reed Neal has opened Salon @ South Side in the new Harris Teeter plaza on Spartanburg Highway in Hendersonville, NC. The beauty shop is consistent with the owner's flare for high style, ergonomic comfort, and client-centric ambience. I stopped by while they were setting up the hair product retail display in the front of the shop; here's a few pics. Feels like you could be in the middle of New York, LA, or Paris, but without the pretense and extravagant costs!
This is the offices for the Zinc Corporation at Broken Hill. They were constructed c1936-1938. The designer be they architect or engineer is unknown (unless you know). The front part of the offices contain offices and Board Room but the rear has laboratories and extensive change rooms and showers for the miners. Underneath the Offices are underground mining offices and mine entry via Freeman's Shaft. This was the first underground mine entry at Broken Hill.
