Fuji X100 in London
Seeing the World with 35
On the way home from work on Monday 13 June I took a few photos. There was a low bright sub, and lots of flare. I played with my Fuji X100 (with 35mm equiv lens) set at 400 iso and a Leica M6 TTL with Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 Nokton SC lens and Kodak Portra 400 iso, comparing and contrasting different 35mm views of my journey home. In 2005–2006, Fondren Library’s sixth floor was completely renovated to provide an open, beautifully appointed space for reading, meetings and research. With its handsome seating, study carrels and private meeting rooms, the sixth floor has quickly become a destination space on campus. Accessible only with a Rice ID, the space affords striking panoramic views of the campus and provides a respite for students seeking a quiet, convenient and cozy retreat.
