San Jose, California, designed as apartments by Frank D. Wolfe, built 1915. San Jose Historic Landmark No. 119
1898, W. & G. Audsley. This distinctive building fits loosely within the Classical Revival movement of the day but has a bit of an Egyptian look. The AIA guide says, "'Eclectic' was invented for stylistic collections such as this." It housed the White Star Line offices in New York; Cunard was right next door. This was where the traveling public came to book passage.

This is an abandoned office block on the site of the large factory in Cakemore Road. When it was used for manufacturing it went through various names of owners, hence the previous acronyms, but was world famous for such things as large electric motors.
It was one of the major employers in the town but the site is now mainly neglected. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackheath,_West_Midlands

On the more modern aerial photo in the article, this is the block you can pick out about a third of the way from the left of the photo, towards the front.
School Boards were set up under the Elementary Education Act of 1870. The firm of Martin and Chamberlain were appointed architects to the Board in 1870 and designed almost all of the 51 new schools built over the next 31 years. Many examples still exist.
They also designed these School Board Offices at 98 Edmund Street, just two doors down from Chamberlain's masterpiece, the School of Art. This building, although not as ornate as the School of Art, is still wonderfully decorative.

Les offices, (1560 - 1580) étaient utilisés comme bureaux de magistrats, juges, techniciens et marchands de Florence, et furent transformés par une galerie privée pour le plaisir de la famille régnante de Florence, les Médicis, et de leurs hôtes. Outre aux peintures, aux statues, aux bijoux et aux instruments scientifiques, furent exposées aussi des armes et ceci fit de la galerie une des collections plus intéressante du monde. En 1865, les Offices devinrent un musée, et aujourd'hui les Offices sont composés de 50 salles comprenant peintures allant du 13° au 18° siècle. Parmi les plus célèbres, la célèbre « Madone sur le trône » de Giotto, la « Bataille de San Romano » de Paolo Uccello, le dittico de Piero de la Francesca « Federico de Montefeltro », « la naissance de Vénère » de Botticelli, en plus des 3 œuvres de Leonardo de Vinci, il existe une œuvre de Michelangelo, quelques unes de Raffaello et beaucoup de Tiziano et de Caravaggio. Toutes les peintures sont disposées en ordre chronologique, en sorte qu’il soit possible d’apprécier pleinement toutes les évolutions de l'art à travers les siècles.

The Central Government Offices (Chinese: 中區政府合署, also Government Headquarters 政府總部) houses the most major offices of the Hong Kong Government. The current home is the Main Block of the Central Government Complex, Tamar. It was formerly located in Central in Hong Kong, occupied the lower level of Government Hill.
