Zu sehen ist ein Besprechungsraum des Pioneers Club OWL. Die Akustik ließ leider zu wünschen übrig, da der Raum viele verglaste Flächen hat, und man konnte einen deutlichen Hall wahrnehmen. In drei Ecken des Raumes haben wir Säulen von Akustikwürfeln platziert und getestet.
Das Ergebnis: Deutliche Verbesserung der Akustik, eine angenehme Atmosphäre und reduzierte Nachhallzeit beim Reden!
Die Zufriedenheit beim Kunden steht bei uns an oberster Stelle und deswegen freut es uns sehr, dass die nonoiz acoustic elements im Pioneers Club OWL so gut angekommen sind!

Starbird Youth Center, a Redevelopment Agency project, has been awarded SILVER LEED® certification, established by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
The 3,840 square feet center was constructed with extensive use of recycled materials. It also boasts windows designed to capture sunrays, clerstory windows that allow the hot air to escape from the building, as well as a climate-controlled system that is maintained by a large fan to draw in air in the evening to cool down the building in the summer and a radiant floor heating system to heat the building in the winter. The Center’s large windows naturally illuminate the classrooms and lounge where neighborhood youth are tutored and socialize.
The total cost of the project was approximately $3.2 million, including $2.6 million from the San Jose Redevelopment Agency and $550,000 from Park Trust Funds.

A little peeling paint, a lot of wacky painting. Most of the inside of this building wasn't too exciting, but the roof and the view are nice.
The Olympic Theater was built as a Sokol Slavsky Community Organization for the Czech population. Cicero had a growing Czech population and the Olympic had an auditorium, ballroom, gym, and pool. It was very popular for a long time and even into the mid 90's the Olympic would show movies and shows. It closed for a few years in the late 90's but opened again for concerts and plays. Sadly a small roof fire occurred in 2018 and it has not opened since. The fire damaged a restaurant, offices, a dental office and the Olympic Theater

85 Moat Lane, in Yardley, Birmingham. This is a Arcon Mark V design, and was built in 1946 to rehouse the many homeless after the destruction of the housing stock. 17 of the surviving prefabs in Birmingham have been listed as buildings of historic and architectural interest.
