obvious why 'cheerful'. 'obsession', because, well, you know. it has flea market fancy in it (and a little katie jump rope).

OMG. last year I was also obsessed by these little yellow gems. I think I photograhed Lo in them more than once and thought of doing myself in them as well.
guess what? it's that time of the year again and I can't get enough of these yellow weeds!!! I passed these on the freeway the other day and had to hunt them down today. when I *finallly* found them... I had to truck myself, my gear, lo, and a chair about one city block to get to the center of them. but honestly, worth every painful breath ;) i love these things ;) i wish i had someone else to photograph in them. well... a few lo's ones will be along shortly ;)
from Latin Obsidere (to besiege), is a form of insanity caused by a persistent attack by an invading "spirit" from outside the individual. I think we all define the concept of spirit in our own way. I know mine. I know it well. We wrestle often...sometimes I win, sometimes I lose.

Hammond Carter was a rich British cartographer within Gotham City, who became wrapped up in Black Mask’s Intergang as a map maker for their heists. He eventually left the Gotham lime light and became the Globe, with his own gang and his own heists. He does have a small obsession with longitude and latitude, and has a globe helmet over his head. It’s actually a computerized tracker, and provides him with the location of his gang members.

Short origin for a somewhat dumb villain because eh, why not. I just needed to provide some background for him because he might show up in Gotham Underground.
