I have never had a cat that was the least bit interested in water. This cat, however, is OBSESSED with drops of water. When I'm washing the dishes, he wants to sit right next to the sink. When I'm washing my face at night, there he is. When someone washes their hands, he comes running.
His mother was discovered living on a boat, which is where he and his brother and sister were born. All three cats (his brother belongs to our friends and his sister belongs to my mother-in-law) are completely obsessed...
This got up to #1 on Explore -- that was really unexpected!!!

I'm driving back home today from Turin to Bridgend so it'll be a. long drive.It's been the most amazing few days since I set off late on Christmas night. Every day in Italy has been brilliant with full sun and magical mountains. I feel so lucky and privileged to have spent fantastic days with a wonderful companion, Maura Astesano in such dramatic landscapes. This is a shot on one of only a. few days when there was any clouds to play with. The first song title I saw today on my playlist was Obsession Never Sleeps by Scott Matthews , that seems fine.

I took this before 7 this morning and then took more when i got back in from work, and again at dusk. This was before i knew the WAH theme was obsession.....
"When I was a Child..." - my obsession was Elvis. I fell in love with him in the 5th grade when he visited my hometown, Lakeland, FL, and performed at the Polk Theater. I had a "boyfriend" (if you can call him that in the 5th grade) who could sing Jailhouse Rock and move just like Elvis. At one time I had collected over 100 Elvis bubble gum cards which, sadly, my mother tossed when I went to college. This 45 record was a part of my collection that is still in my little case that I had from the late 50's. I tried to include some of my other favorites in the macro.

I am a bit obsessed with photographing beer as not only is it great subject matter you get to drink it afterwards.
I am almost ready to make a photo book of the beers of New Mexico.
We like beer and happily like to taste many of the excellent beers being brewed in Albuquerque. On the left my usual pint of Maximillian and to the right a Nitro Coffee Cardamom Brown.. Brown ale infused with cardamom and free-trade Guatemalan coffee roasted by Michael Thomas Coffee. 6.2% ABV.
Both very pleasant and John and I shared. I probably had more of the nitro than he did. Thank you La Reforma Brewery. Albuquerque.

Having Spotted flycatchers in the garden for the first time and nesting on the garage too has become a little obsessive. There are so many photo opportunities and I have taken dozens of shots.
I like this shot as the bird landed on a more open branch with the background trees far enough away to be completely out of focus.
Which is what this fungi business is starting to become. Well, there are worse things I could be doing and who doesn’t benefit from exploring nature? I shall however pause the mushroom shots for now and find something I can shoot standing up…😆

I made all these cameras last night out of a cardboard box while watching Top Chef, a child way to spend a Friday night but it suited me just fine :)

Picturesque island of #Kalsoy is the home of one of the most dramatic light houses I've ever seen: #Kallur #Lighthouse. Craggy cliffs clad in layers of green grass spike toward a sky so blue it seems to merge with the sea. Although you most of the time have cloudy weather, but not to worry, it looks just as gorgeous on moody weather. Definitely worth a visit. Just mind your step when you visit this place.
