At Wahiawa Botanical Garden in central Oahu, a 27-acre forested ravine, with tropical flora in rainforest setting. One of Oahu's five Botanical Gardens. [14 of 24]

Sunset Beach on the North Shore of Oahu is one of the premier surfing beaches in the world, but when the surf is absent the crowds disappear.

I have been there many, many times but this is the first time that I had the beach completely to myself for over an hour. Sitting in solitude on this vast, empty beach with the wind in your face and the taste of salt spray in the air.......kind of nice.
