Makapu'u Beach, Hawaii. A very beautiful beach located on the extreme East end of O'ahu island. It has a small island in the back drop which makes it more interesting and scenic. And yes, of course I had to leave my footprint in the foreground! :)

I just returned from my very first visit to the island of Oahu, and even though it was a very short trip, I managed to sneak in a little photography. Every morning, the rising sun would illuminate the puffy clouds that linger along the Hawaiian coast in subtle tones of pink and baby blue, which I wanted to capture in an abstract way using intentional camera movement and a high key processing style.
