2019. In Kiev, Igor wants to go to the bathhouse but Alek fears a police raid; in New York, Holly and Tara don't have to worry about such things. The Pomada Inn throws these couples together across time and space to explore the global legacy of Stonewall and the work that still needs to be done.
May 18th, 2019 at NYU's Shubert Theatre.
A collaborative project of NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Department of Design for Stage and Film, and Department of Dance; The New School's College of Performing Arts; American Opera Projects and the Stonewall Inn; co-sponsored by the NYU Grey Art Gallery.
AOP's training programs are supported in part through a multi-year grant by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and OPERA America’s Innovation Grant funded by the Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation.
The Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU has over 2500 alumni working at the forefront of interactive media, communications, design and art. At long last we are coming together to create a formal alumni association to keep the value of the program alive and vital after we graduated. I graduated from ITP in 2004 and I was delighted to return to the fourth floor to capture the ideas bouncing around the meeting in the form of an information mural. Big thanks to the organizers of this event! More of my work at envizualize.com/.

daniel sweren-becker ("happy tuesday"), erica lipez ("the tutors"), brad barth ("mr. irrelevant"), amit ashraf ("the olympians"), kevin arrieta ("30 rock" -- "d.a.d.d."), sarah jane ricciardi ("30 rock" -- "the ten plagues"), emily schmidt ("withering heights"), nick mattes ("30 rock" -- "the return of donny the page").
not pictured: anna stubblefield -- now goes by anna fields ("we 3 kings") and lauren gunderson ("site y")
