On January 31st, 2018, NYCDOT and MTA hosted an open house on the East Side of Manhattan regarding the upcoming closure of the Canarsie Tunnel.
New York City Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the NYPD and the TLC, will hold a citywide Day of Public Awareness in advance of the new citywide default speed limit lowering from 30 to #25MPH, which takes effect Friday, November 7th. Street teams alerting motorists to the new limit will be at over a dozen locations during the day.
