Chief lost Teepee pencil topper Marx rip off. This went on the eraser end of a pencil and was most likely a gum ball toy, are there more of these ?
I worked hard to find all these colors of Smokey Sam from the 3rd Series of Nutty Mads. The Black one is from Mexico as you know.
Check this out, a mini Bull Pen Boo Boo Nutty Mad. I forgot who I got this
from, but they knew it was a tough one to find. It is a total pantograph of
the full 6" size that some company ripped off for one of those parachute
toys. I have always hoped to see a set of 2nd series (6) in this size.
We have all seen the 1st series of the Nutty Mads in the mini size and they
rock. But note Marx made the mini molds but I have never seen a original
Marx figure , just the ones that came up from Mexico after they got the mini
molds.

Note Nutty Mad Factory Paint production figures are made from a hard plastic that has a different bottom base unlike any other Nutty Mad (please see any Marx 6" warrior painted figure). There is no doubt what is a factory paint and what is a after market paint job.
I believe that these factory paints were never sold to the public and were made for "In Store Display Only" . Mine came in plastic bags with a printed note to remove them from bag before displaying them. I think the idea was so kids would paint there Nutty Mads much the same as you would your mold kits.
The one that got away. This one was in great shape compared to the ones I have. It is the one and only Bullpen Boo Boo Original clay figure.

One of the rarest of all nutty mad items is the Marx Nuttykin. This is the only one I have ever seen and I got it from a hard core Fairykins, TV-Tinykins, and Disneykins collector. This man had gotten me many super rare colors and odd Marx items and was one of the most knowledgeable Marx collectors I had ever talked to. All of this took place in the 80's when my friend could still get together with Marxs workers and such.
This "ROCKO THE CHAMP" is hard plastic like all the "Kins" Marx made and is 1 5/8" tall. Standard Rocko is 7 1/4" Mini Rocko is 4 3/4". Please let me see photos of more if you have them.
