The College of Nursing and Alumni Relations came together for an evening celebrating the success of our College of Nursing alumni.
I made this nursing cover a few weeks back. It is double sided with white deers on navy on one side, and white polka-dots on lime green for the other.
I have tested it and it works pretty well to "cover" up during nursing. It sort of works like an apron over the baby while he eats, but the opening is bigger so that I can peek inside at the top to see him.
This was one of my first sewing projects after the baby came. It was so therapeutic to sew again...

The University of Salford has developed a state-of-the-art clinical simulation ward with mannequin patients to create real-life, practical experiences for its nursing students.
Students on the ward work with computerised mannequins that are programmed to simulate various illnesses and conditions. Four adults, a young child and a baby are replicated by the mannequins which have a pulse, respiratory movements, arteries that can spray fake blood and recorded voices to communicate discomfort and pain or describe symptoms.
