Hope Y’all Have a Wonderful Weekend !!
(Nikon, 14mm, 1/100 @ f/22, ISO 100)
I always wonder about the people that once lived in these now abandoned places. It's sad to see the house empty and falling down but there is a haunting beauty in seeing nature reclaim it. As for the former occupants, I'm sure they have no worries now.
Well it's been one of those weeks at work where I've felt a little stressed, pressed and needing another 24 hours in each day. I stumbled on this photo from Trentham Gardens last night, reminding me of happy, relaxing times with family a couple of months ago. I reckon I could learn a bit from these dandelions...*bursts into songs from Frozen*!! Looking forward to time off over Easter and hopefully catching up with comments here too :)

PARADISO PARAMOUR
Love is like a circle
Infinite goes round and round
encompasses us within it's light
and leads us to the one we found.
Have you ever looked wide-eyed up high
and wondered why - there is no sky?
Just avoid an empty void;
don't be devoid by standing still.
The bars we make imprison us
and block the sun from shining down
Obscure our vision so we can't see
how beautiful we're meant to be,
but look beyond the solid frame
and see the circles lit within
there's love and light and comfort there
actualise perpetual dreams.
When every barrier's fallen down
and all the debris swept aside
the dust will settle; drift away
and sunshine find it's way inside.
The sky will be repainted blue
the sun will warm our hearts and lives
and harmony and peace will reign
Let conscience ever be our guide.
Paradiso paramour
walk the sands for evermore
no words required just BE with me
tranquility waits patiently.
A touch, a kiss, a smile, a look
no words required; an open book
take my hand, don't let me fall
forever love will conquer all ...

So i was going to a wedding in Iceland so me and my family made a summer vecation out of it. Belive it or not but it was actually warm at 20 at the warmest day. however alot of rain and wind as well.
This is my sisters boyfriend chilling on a chair that is boltet down to the dock, so there is no way to make it turn the other way.
It's me! Hair thinner and whiter. Glasses crooked. Priority not to lose house key. Happily all worries are forgotten at the garden centre!
An old, wooden-hulled fishing boat is overflown by a flock of numerous seabirds foraging for fish in a frenzy; they claim their own cut of the haul. The fisherman tends to his nets.
This is the first day of Lent, with an increased demand for seafood on the market, so no worries for him about selling the fish caught. For early March, the weather conditions are perfect, too.
All is well.

I hope it heads your way soon. (Except for you dr. Ozda, I want your dogs to enjoy the snow a little longer.)

You can close your eyes to things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to the things you don't want to feel.

I sometimes wish I was a child again, so that I had nothing to worry about. I could live life and enjoy everything without a care in the world. I have been worrying about my future lately because there are certain decisions that I have to make that may take me away from my family and friends. However, having God in my life has always allowed me to think and live like a child most of the time. In an instant God is able to take all my worries away. All I know is that my life is in God's hands and everything will work itself out.
Marley among the wildflowers, a purrfect pairing...these are a few of my favourite things as well as Tom Petty’s song.
Marley usually stays within the confines of the backyard cat enclosure. However, lately with the beautiful Spring weather, he escapes constantly...playing hide-and-seek into the backyard amidst the wildflowers and tall grass. He is in his element and definitely belongs among the wildflowers.
A phrase from Tom Petty’s Wildflowers song:
🎶You belong among the wildflowers
You belong somewhere close to me
Far away from your trouble and worry
You belong somewhere you feel free
You belong somewhere you feel free🎶
Another 10 hour work day and then I headed off immediately to the railroad tracks. The same ones from a week ago. Only this time it's rush hour and everyone probably thinks I'm a weirdo with a death wish. Oh well! I got what I needed. What do you think?
Oh, and I'm sorry if I'm a horrible flickr pal right now. I'm trying, but there is soooo much on my plate right now. I'll catch up soon.
No snow on the ground, sunny, middle of the week...
Today felt like spring, finally!
Not long ago I got a children's book from back home, it has been sitting on my desk waiting for a day like today...calling me...
I took an afternoon off (despite all the things that had to be done) and sucked on an orange half while reading the words I have all but forgotten...
Here is a slice of today's sunshine.
Enjoy!
PJESMA DANGUBE
Pitate me sta sam radio?
Sumske jagode u grlo sadio,
Ispravljao drvecu krive sjene
I trazio dane izgubljene.
Uz put sam namotao klupko suncanih zraka
I nakupio pet kreketa od svraka,
A onda sam mjerio koliko treba trave,
Kad se izvalim, od peta do glave.
