Got it! No need to give me that stern look. This is YOUR domain and I'm just passing through. I understand–er, MISTER Raptor of Old Man River. I know you spotted me a mile away. I'm not going to disturb that breakfast duck you spotted or the big catfish making a splash. I'm just a fly on a wall. My camera doesn't even click anymore. It's silent. I'm not going to disrupt you.
Note: I am near the southwest Kentucky / northwest Tennessee border visiting certain spots in and around Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge. Frankly, I'm not certain what side of the border this spot is in.
I received a letter from a friend with some information to pass on to another friend. As you can see I take my letter writing seriously :)

If you have been around fl!ckr lately, you'll notice a lot of photographers (those who particularly deal with children) and parents who have made their flickrs, F+F (friends and family.)
There has been many occasions on where these people, and countless others have had their photographs stolen, only to be used by strangers on other sites. Like Orkut.
Call me paranoid, but I am not taking any chance whatsoever.
So, take note!
(heh also take note of some really awful spelling/grammar mistakes there. It's best not to try and make a serious post on very little sleep. But I'm sure you can gather what I mean.)
Images of Australia: 11/100 (edited for impact)
Bushfires are a widespread and regular occurrence that have significantly shaped the landscape over millennia. The predominant eucalyptus forests have evolved to thrive on bushfire. However, fires also cause significant property damage and loss of both human and animal life.
Indigenous Australians used to use fire to clear grasslands for hunting and European settlers have also had to adapt to using fire to enhance agriculture and forest management since the 19th century. Controlled burns, using Indigenous knowledge, are being used in many parts of the country to reduce the risk of out-of-control fires.
The land on the above photograph was seriously burnt several year ago, and fire restrictions are part of everyday life in many parts of Australia.
sparkly k asked if she could draw a smiley on my hand and this is what she wrote instead.

NOTE ... That's a soda bottle cap in the middle and that is a mushroom on the right ...
Today felt more like spring than the middle of winter. It was in the 60s and people were out having a picnic by the park. But .. that's just for today, there is a talk of more rainy days to come in the near future!
I hope all my Flickr friends are doing well. I know some are having some health issues and I hope that things will be better soon!
Thank you so much for dropping by and for the kind comments. They are very much appreciated!
These Australian stingless bees are only 4mm or 3/16" long. As the name suggests they have no sting although they can try biting with their mandibles.
Their hives are in hollows in trees, in fallen logs or crevices in rocks.
Hives only produce about 1kg or 2.2lb of honey per year so it's a delicacy to be savoured.

Every day in a life fills the whole life with expectations and memory.

Hebrews 13:14-15
14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. 15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
