On Friday I connected my iBook to an older Linux Laptop and used the iBook's WLAN connection to update software on the Linux box.

This is the first (of many to come) journals that I have bought with a purpose of writing in them other than for school.
It never occurred to me to write in beautiful not books until my godmother got me two and told me I had to write in them, thank you.
This morning I hit from behind Frankie Lee's monitor. (Frankie Lee is my notebook). The screen went black, and my heart sank! "Nooo! I killed Frankie Lee!"
I turned it off for a while, and now it seems that everything is ok, but I'm copying my files on my family's computer... Just to be safe...
Poor Frankie Lee, I would be lost without him!

* I made this notebook cover out of cotton fabrics and cardboard. I also used fleece, to pad the outside, embroidery fabric, embroidery thread and a piece of ribbon.
* Ik heb deze notitieblokhouder gemaakt van katoenen stofjes en karton. Daarnaast heb ik fleece gebruikt, als zachte tussenlaag voor de buitenkant, borduurstof, borduurgaren en een stukje lint.

This is a print of my drawing series ‘Pitcher Plant’.
Pitcher plant can be found in South East Asia with different species. The species can be mainly identified by highland & lowland pitchers. Some are widespread, and some are rare species...Enjoy!
The original drawing is done by charcoal pencil on a light artistic Chinese painting paper with neutral shade originally. The rough and imperfect surfaces match well with the strokes unexpectedly.
