The Operation North Pole train is seen heading south through Mt Prospect. The train had taken over 60 critically ill children and their parents on a ride to Crystal Lake from Des Plaines. At Des Plaines the kids boarded busses that took them to Rosemont Convention Center where they got to meet Santa and forget about being sick for a while. operationnorthpole.org/
