Hello Everyone and a Happy day after Thanksgiving to you all! :) I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday and did not eat too much pie and pumpkin bars like I did, LOL. I did not go out to the crazy Black Friday sales today as I learned my lesson a number of years ago in Macy's when I and my sister went to their early door opener sales and along with the all of rest of the city there, when the doors opened so too did the great Mongol Horde charge through the tiny doors. Being expert shoppers, my sister and I, we split up carrying our very large blue Ikea shopping bags to stuff things in, she went to clothes, I went to housewares, seeing the big bins of all things bedroom, I went for the blanket bin when this woman came out of no where and shoved me to aside to the floor, spraining my ankle, some other ladies were sweet to come to my aid and an altercation almost happened between the woman and others, but soon security showed up and calmed the women down as I limped over and grabbed three throws and slowly moved on, lol,. My ankle was hurting for days afterwards and I promised never to go out on Black Fridays again. So now what do I do, I shop the Friday sales in Second Life and purchase RL items online. :)
Which brings me to my photo, I promised myself I would not empty out my purse and set a budget for myself and told my SL family this morning, " I am only spending THIS much!" however, I did not realize that my favorite designers were ALL putting their stores on sale. WHAT IS A GIRL TO DO?!?!?! I asked myself staring at clothes I have been wanting for so long.I through my wallet at them and grabbed all I could LOL United Colors, Reign, Tetra, Big Beautiful Doll, Phedora, on and on it went, till my Big brother Conner barked at me and told me to stop else Santa was not going to bring me anything because of how bad i am being. Well a snarky comment came out of my lips and he laid down the law. Being taken to Santa for Judgement! lol.

Temperatures warmed and I finally got out with the team yesterday, a nice 12 mile romp with ten dogs and the sled. Trails are still thin but quite runable. This is a moment after getting all the dogs hooked up; I jumped up on my truck and grabbed a quick shot. Only my leaders are patient and looking back at me, the rest were all jumping, barking and howling, itching to hit the trail. I love that moment when I pull the rope and the cacophony stops and the dogs fall into silent work mode.

Alkefjellet is a cliff in Lomfjordhalvøya in Ny-Friesland at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. Alkefjellet is a bird cliff facing towards Hinlopen Strait. Alkefjellet is the nesting location for over 60,000 breeding pairs of Brünnich’s guillemots.

Had the most amazing entertainment on my recent flight back from Japan. For over 1h I watched the northern lights as we flew over the North pole and Svalbard.
I am home! Returned in time to see the last of the leaves flutter and fly from the trees. Autumn in the far north is fleeting and I am glad I returned in time to see it. I have been spending as much time as I can outside.
The Martian north pole as seen by Mars Express' HRSC instrument. This image was taken during Martian midsummer. At this time, the pole (located near the center of the ice cap) was experiencing the midnight sun. The constant daylight had melted much of the surface ice, leaving a remnant cap of water ice.
On the horizon, a large cloud can be seen. This is an orographic cloud produced by air rising up the slopes of Olympus Mons, causing the thin moisture in the atmosphere to condense out as a cloud.
