Low cloud darkens the sky while Stoke church tower and the foreground catch stray rays of sunshine. A few minutes later it rained very hard.

Lynton, North Devon
I rather like this shot looking over the cliff tops at Lynton. It reminds me, somewhat, of the views across the Bay of Naples (but without the heat).
The old Barnstaple to Bideford Railway Line is now a cycle/foot path making up part of the SW Coast Path.
The path was used to film a programme in the series James May's Toy Stories where a model railway was laid along the path.
Taken on a short stay near Barnstaple in October 2013.
We went to the hamlet of Bucks Mills on the North Devon coast, and it was so beautiful it was almost like a model village.
The view of these houses through a gap in some foliage was the first thing I just *had* to take a photo of. I don't think it could have been more perfectly photogenic.
I love that the depth of field makes this look like it's been artificially tilt-shifted to make it look like a model.
It isn't. That's how it was. It was *that* perfect.
