A wrecked boat at Fremington Quay. Despite using an ND4 grad the sky still burnt out! Got a little back with PS shadow/highlight filter hence the slight HDR look.

The Fay Thomas Collection includes family archives relating to the Thomas family. Moses Thomas (1825-1878) was a significant figure in the history of the area now known as the City of Whittlesea, Victoria, Australia. Thomas and Ann and their family lived at "Mayfield", Mernda, Victoria.

Playing hooky. Midweek coast walk on a lovely spring day. Hartland Quay to Spekes Mouth and back followed by coffee and flapjack.
High Street shops. That in the centre and its neighbour to the left were built in 1881 to the designs of W H Gould, a local architect. They show the Victorian exuberant use of polychrome brickwork and the styles influenced by Ruskin's 'Stones of Venice'.

Woolacombe Beach
I couldn't believe how empty Woolacombe Beach was when I visited. Mind you, as you can probably see, the dark rain clouds were rolling in. Just a few brave walkers and surfers braved the weather.
