This is an entirely different photo of the same bike, same angle, same composition. The first thing I think of when shooting bikes in how I would draw them. I love to draw bikes and other mechanical things so I figured I'd expirement with saturation to make the image black and white for a possible future art piece.
The museum attendant yelled at us for taking this picture. The confusing part is that pictures are allowed in the National Archeological Museum, I think she just objected to the style of the picture. She kept yelling, "Normal! Normal!" We're too weird for Athens, apparently.
la soledad es un paso firme
que no he podido obligarme a dar

I was just messing around this afternoon, trying out one of my camera settings, which normally I never do. Couldn't decide which I preferred, so am posting both. I THINK I prefer this one, which was taken on my usual, normal setting (P). Put both photos through the Auto Adjust in Zoombrowzer, my camera software - again I normally never use this either. Made only a slight difference. Usually, I prefer photos that have nothing done to them, other than maybe some cropping.
Blipfoto post for Thursday 22 July 2010: Normal Service Resumed
Backblip (the twelth, and last, of many to cover ten days holiday):
The scene this morning on the pavement outside our apartment in Prague waiting for the taxi to collect us for the airport. In the rest of the day this pavement is covered in tables with people drinking the wonderful cheap beer and eating various foodstuffs made out of the many parts of the Pig that the Czechs delight in cooking.
It's been a fantastic holiday and Prague is a wonderful city, I'm sure we will be back sometime. We'd like to see it in the winter or autumn. In the menatime we are checking out the weather forecast at home and looking forward to the nice chilly weather that awaits us as a welcome relief of the heat the last couple of weeks.
