Nadat de 2 treinen in Gemünden am Main waren gepasseerd werd doorgereden naar Karlstadt. Hier stonden nog 3 treinen in de planning, waarvan er uiteindelijk maar 1 zou lukken.
De "Flammentaurus" van TX Logistik deed maarliefst 3 uur over Ansbach - Würzburg (normaal iets meer dan 1 uur), waardoor de zon al lang en breed onder was toen deze trein passeerde. Ook SETG deed er net te lang over om van Nürnberg naar Würzburg te komen, en kwam door nadat de zon net verdwenen was. Rond Nürnberg en Fürth liepen door omgeleide goederentreinen de vertragingen flink op vanwege de drukte. Spijtig, maar die ene trein die wel lukte was er gelukkig ook één van formaat.
De 159 202 van Heavy Haul Power International passeert Karlstadt op 5 november 2020 met lege boomstammentrein 95106 uit Plattling naar Bendorf am Rhein. Voor mij de eerste foto van een Eurodual, wat een gave machines zijn het...

Used normal oil painting effect at 75%. Then used Adobe photoshop express urban effect UR8. Finished with an ultra fine silver border. Rose located in front yard garden of my next door neighbor.
E così, eccomi qui.... Una pausa un pò lunga, dopo le ferie dopo gli inghippi del rientro dopo qualche delusione (fotografica) dopo traslochi di ufficio dopo tante cose. E ricomincio da una bicicletta :) perchè finalmente, in quel famoso giorno del raduno a Ferrara, proprio quel giorno, ho finalmente trovato una sella Brooks! Fotografata in fretta, con il proprietario lì che guardava stupito, forse chiedendosi perchè mai un gruppo di persone mica tanto normali andava in sollucchero per una sella....
Un grazie a tutti voi, a quelli che mi hanno scritto, chiedendosi dove fossi andata a finire, a quelli che ..."finalmente non ci appioppa più foto di biciclette"...., a quelli che hanno lasciato stelline e commenti. Sarà bello ritrovarvi tutti, rivedere le vostre foto, sentire i vostri commenti e le vostre impressioni. Sarà bello essere di nuovo qui.

They may look like normal size leaves, but these are miniature Oak leaves growing off of that single little stem that has broken out from the trunk of the tree.
This tree is in my landscape and these triplet beauties caught my eye as I was cutting the grass yesterday.
In the house I went, grabbed my macro lens, and captured them from several angles. Here is the result.

Got inspired by the photographer Chris Jordan to try to take a pano shot of something I'd otherwise take a normal photo of to boost the pixel count. I'm not sure if I've achieve what I wanted, but it is something I want to experiment more with.
Op Donderdag 12 Juni stond DBC Gepland om de Daimler autotrein te rijden vanuit Bremen naar Zeebrugge via Amersfoort, ditmaal met de Europees-gethematiseerde 193 364. Onderweg naar de uitgekozen stek kwam ik zomaar oog in oog te staan met de inmiddels landelijk bekende Keolis 904, die vanwege een treinstel met defecte airco in de normaal Apekop-loze avondspits mocht rijden. Toen dit vrij snel de voorkeur kreeg en nadat er eerst een ritje in het stel werd gemaakt, werd de trein voor het eerst die dag in Barneveld Centrum voor de lens genomen, nadat dat was gelukt besloot ik richting het noorden te fietsen op zoek naar de volgende stek, die uiteindelijk werd gevonden.
Na ongeveer een kwartiertje wachten werd om 20:08 het Plan V’tje als trein voor een tweede en laatste keer die dag vereeuwigd in een enorm fraai avondlicht. De keuze om hiervoor te gaan bleek uiteindelijk een goeie keuze te zijn, want DBC reed met een goeie 80 minuten vertraging, waardoor deze niet meer op de uitgekozen stek mogelijk was geweest.

From across the pond, and through the trees, it's hard to tell that the barn is being torn down. It's almost normal.
Cuando el biotren recorría normalmente, y todo era una verdadera selva de locos, corriendo en contra del tiempo, apurados porque en cinco minutos mas tengo que estar en tal parte y una infinidades de situaciones del diario vivir.
después del terremoto, a algunos nos hizo reflexionar, a otros simplemente se dejaron influenciar, saco lo mas malo del ser humano, objeto de admiración en todo el mundo, de países desarrollados u otros con muy poca civilización, y que simplemente no podían creer que estaban viendo.
A veces pienso que este terremoto fue algo mentiroso, pero a la vez, pienso que a muchos nos sirvió, yo era parte de quienes corrían para llegar, y hoy, soy una persona mucho mas relajada, aprendí a valorar lo que tengo y lo que pude perder.
subi esta imagen, porque sin querer queriendo, fue a una semana antes del terremoto, y como en muchos días, el tiempo nos dio un aviso, fue helada esa jornada, muy nublada y porque ademas, sale el molino el globo, famosa por el producto "quaker" y desde que tengo conciencia de mi vida, e comido esos cereales, ademas de vivir a pocos metros de esta fabrica, ya que quedaba a muy pocos pasos de lo que fue alguna vez, un recinto estacion, y habia una linea hacia el molino que pasaba por donde nosotros jugabamos hace un tiempo atras.
Hoy ese molino esta en el suelo, ya no funciona, y nose que va a pasar de el, pero cuando lo vi, me dio mucha pena.
Esta fabrica pasaba algo desapersivido entre tanta casas y micros y hoy todos miramos como a quedado.

Plug everything back (the plugs only fit one socket each - no chance of confusion), attach a new cable tie to keep everything inside tidy, and replace the bottom, grille, and top in the reverse order.
So, what was the problem?
I have no idea. Having unplugged everything, not seen any burn marks, cuts, etc I replaced everything. The 'on' button worked and the welcome chime played. The volume up and down worked, and the battery test chime also played. Even the charge light came on. Finally, it paired with my phone and played some music.
IImprovement
Having broken the waterproof seals around the speakers, this is no longer waterproof. Using some plumber's mastic or silicone sealant when reassembling the speakers will sort this out.
Prior experience
Many years ago I travelled several hours on a motorcycle to see what was going on in a mate's tank - all their conversations in the turret were going across the squadron radio net. They were surprised to see me when I arrived, but were happy to give me a mug of tea and a sandwich as I set to checking the radios. In fact, I had no clue why the fault had happened, but I knew enough to unplug every cable, suck my teeth a few times, and cadge a smoke ... and then I plugged everything back in again. And everything worked again as designed. I have no idea what I did or why it worked. However, it's not a bad principle to apply, and it saved my speaker from going into the bin =]

Was confused this morning with all that sunshine, but now things are back to normal again.
After the normal Amtrak units had trouble in Colorado, Union Pacific 8427 was added to the head end of the westbound California Zephyr. Here, the train follows the Truckee River near Boca, California. With temperatures hanging around the low 20's, I'm glad I didn't fall into the water.

My technique is alway the same:
Three exposures -2EV, 0, +2EV and then temperature adjustement using Lightroom and layering with luminosity mask using photoshop. Removal of distracting stuff with the stamp tool or patch tool. High pass filter to enhance details. Then saturation, contrast selectively control, dodge and burn where need...
DRI stand for Dynamic Range Increase. Three RAW files are used to achieve this. Rather than using a software like Photomatix for instance, I simply use mask to blend, my own way, the light, dark and normal shot with Photoshop and Lightroom.. To me, It looks more natural than the usual HDR treatment that I would normally applied.

Dodge and burn là où requis...
DRI vient de l'anglais Dynmic Range Increase, qui pourrait se traduire par étendue dynamique améliorée. Les même 3 fichiers RAW entrent dans la composition d'un DRI. Plutôt que de se servir d'un logiciel comme Photomatix qui fait tout le travail, je me sers plutôt de masques pour filtrer l'éclairage dans photoshop et Lightroom. De mon point de vue, cette façon de faire donne une image plus naturel que le traitement HDR que j'employais auparavant.
