Hey, we aren't doing anything...take my picture!!!
Bookshelves can hold memories of who we are and who we were. The cat in the photo has been deceased since 2003, but still holds a place in my heart and memory. The small cat in front of her photo was a gift from my godmother when I was still a teenager.
The "Emily of New Moon" book series by Lucy Maud Montgomery ("Anne of Green Gables") was my favorite series when I was 14; these are my original books. I also loved "The Witch Family" and "The Moffats" series when I was in 4th grade. These are not my original copies, but still treasured. The copy of "The Secret Garden" is my original copy from my childhood.
It is normal to feel and remember who I am and to treasure these small mementos.
