On the return trip from visiting my daughter at UIUC, I passed through Bloomington/Normal and I made sure that I could catch the meet of the Lincoln service on a cold but sunny Sunday morning.
Left the Lincoln 307 to St Louis, right the Lincoln 302 to Chicago.

Although it looks quite normal here, this is quite an unusual garage—I believe it is run as a side business by CGP www.cgpbooks.co.uk/info/about-cgp the educational publishers whose very distinctive revision guides (with a lot of hidden jokes and a comics-like illustration style) were just coming out around the time I did my GCSEs back in the late 90s.
There's no evidence of in in this photo, but in later years as Power, and I think now solely branded "CGP Pitstop", the roof of the building was adorned with various brightly-coloured Wacky Races-esque go-karts (e.g. see this photo by Tony Worrall www.flickr.com/photos/tonyworrall/8440638099 ) and the garage has been host to events including becoming a 'poetry station' noelconnor.com/portfolios/pump-poems-2009/
It's also interesting how well CGP's branding on the shopfront looks—at first glance one wouldn't guess that the logo was actually a vector drawing of a sunglasses-wearing teenager reading a book!
p.s. I didn't notice this at the time I took the photo, but is that a Flare open/closed sign on the left just visible beyond the last Dunclare pump?
