Here's Wilfredo on his first day with the workshop. Out of all the kids that I've worked with, I've enjoyed them and love the fact that they can make me smile...but to see him at work with this new camera touches the deepest part of my heart. He's so special and he has no idea how special he is to me.
this is Franco. He's Italian and he's one of the people that makes Los Quinchos happen. He was there on this particular day from Italy to see how the program is going and then reportsback to his staff and board members. Los Quinchos was found by an Italian woman and they are under ProNica's, (a huge NGO in Nicaragua), umbrella.

The film talks about a poignant depiction of today’s urban loneliness, where most young working adults are moving away from the family circle, leaving behind parents and grandparents, to live their later years in depression and isolation. While the film is in itself a very powerful message, the fact that a youth icon like Akshay Kumar felt compelled to support the film, speaks volumes for the film itself and the gravity of the issue. We at HelpAge India hope that with this film and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Voice of support’ the message will reach far and wide, and influence young minds and urge them to look after their elders. www.helpageindia.org/media-centre/video-gallery-media.html

After being displaced from their home during a land slide this mother and her daughter are squatting on a small piece of land in San Antonio Guatemala. They currently live in a three sided tin shack and dirt floors - the woman has 3 children. The two boys sleep with relatives.
They have no water, electricity or stove. The mother weaves for a living and the girl is sponsored in the mayan families education program.

The nonprofit's director made a request to the Defense Reutilization Marketing Service for used furniture, which was passed on to the district. coming soon LOVE's website.
A big heart felt thank you to all of you for inspiring me to move forward with my dream. Never in my wildest dreams would I think complete strangers would offer their help and support the way each and everyone of you have done. And NEVER in my wildest dreams did I ever think that tiny little me would be this close to living my dreams. Thank you my dream makers for making not only my dreams come true, but for helping me to help the lives of those that I might touch to realize their dreams as well.
Phuong and I have been working relentlessly in getting LOVE's webpage launched. In the mean time, please click on the link below to see how you can help.
Currently we're working on getting a non profit status. I understand that it takes anywhere from 1-2 years to become an official non profit organization. Please understand that any contributions made will not be tax deductible.

Marine debris on display collected by volunteers of B.E.A.C.H from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch during earlier beach clean-up events in the Big Island and Oahu, Hawaii on September 8, 2010. Littering and dumping at sea and land are resulting in an accumulation of marine debris in the North Pacific Subtropical Gyre which than washes up on Hawai'i's beaches. With the help of volunteers Beach Environmental Awareness Campaign Hawai'i (B.E.A.C.H.) a non-profit organization systematically collects and categorizes marine debris on various beaches on Hawaiian beaches.
