✦ One thing that the grid is sorely in short supply of is an anime-styled head that uses SLUV. I don't think anybody understands how long I've been waiting to try the Morphtoon heads for this exact reason-- and let me say right now... anybody who feels similarly to me will NOT be disappointed. This adorable head was sculpted with balance in mind, between toony and realism, so as to not fall into the treacherous Uncanny Valley. And they leapt across that chasm with effortless grace, because the head is beyond adorable! Same as the other Genus Morph heads, this darling little piece is capable of swapping out pieces to achieve your perfect look. Out of the box, the base head includes the Triangle head shape, Natural lips, Perky nose, three ear options (Human, Pixie and Elf) and all the other lovely bells and whistles you can expect from a Genus product. There's no one "correct" way to do horns, even when it comes to specific types of horns. And that's precisely what I love about the Ashspire Horns from Aii. They are ram-like in shape, but their design is so much more than that; the riged quality lends them an almost draconic quality, and with the whopping 60 textures to choose from, and asymmetry capability, they blew my expectations out of the water. ✦ Alright, buckle in, folks, because this is going to be a two-parter!
Let's start with the foundation, shall we? As many of you may already be aware, Genus has done something that I don't think I've seen any other creator do-- they created a truly, fully customizable head line! The aptly named MORPH line is formatted to act as building blocks, the pieces of which you can mix and match one another to create the perfectly "you" look! Shown here is the Oval head base, as well as the Puppy eyes. But that's not nearly all there is to the Morph starter line-- there are two other head shapes (Triangle and Square), four lip shapes (Natural, Bow, Heavy, and Pierced), four additional eye shapes (Almond, Monolid, Round and Fox), four nose shapes (Straight, Aqualine, Bulbous and Button) and three gauged ear options! Talk about a buffet of choices! All of these can be pieced together not only with the above-mentioned parts, but also with other entirely separate Morph line sets!
Speaking of which, let's address the elephant in the room-- what's up with those stunning fangs? For this uniquely vampiric look, we have the Carmilla preset to thank! This bundle includes the Puppy eyes, the Dainty nose and the Vampy lips, the latter of which really solidifies the uniqueness of this look. ✦ Wanna know what I love? When creators revisit their older projects to breathe new life into them! There really is nothing better than seeing a creator's growth as an artist and a team-- and Genus' newly released Classic W004 head is a excellent example of this! Genus has always been an amazing head creator, but seeing this remastered head just convinced me all the more that they're doing everything to do better and better with every subsequent release.
I personally love this head for its soft, yet purposeful sculpting. It's wonderfully reactive to shape sliders, so you can bet your bippy you can customize it to your liking! The head has three different ear options--human, elf and pixie-- as well as four different skins in the Velour tones Amber, Brownie, Chocolate and Ebony, all in 2k resolution! Also included are cosmetics like blushes, moles, freckles, highlighters and moles. So lets get funky an embrace the rebirth of this wonderful head!

- Gonzo, also known as The Great Gonzo or Gonzo the Great, is a Muppet character known for his eccentric passion for stunt performance.
Gonzo is not a puppet version of a human or a recognizable animal. He has an awkward, non animal-like appearance, which includes purple-blue fur, purple feathers on his head, bug-eyes, and a long, hooked nose.
A running gag related to Gonzo is that it is not clear what species he is supposed to be. Gonzo's self-identity is a "whatever". In the film The Great Muppet Caper, he is shipped to England in a crate labeled "Whatever" (while Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear are respectively labeled "Frog" and "Bear").
In the Muppet comic strips, Gonzo is seen passing by the gendered bathroom options of "Women" and "Men" and instead walking into a door labeled "Whatever", which has been interpreted by some members of the LGBTQ+ community as indicating that "Whatever" is supposedly a nonbinary form of gender for Gonzo.

I was at work this evening until 7PM and was unsure about what I wanted today's image to be. What a great time to check out today's theme over at We're Here!
For Christmas this year I asked for a couple of things to get started working with polymer clay (I love trying new crafts, I need something physical to go with all the digital photography and video games) These earrings and little arrow were my first creations. My first plan was to shoot them as a still life, but this idea came to mind mid-curing process.
Who guards the guardian angels? Who will be there to catch them when they fall..?
