Got a letter today letting us know that one of Nate's teachers had nominated him for the school district's talented students program, Counterpoint. He has been accepted into the "Creative Writing"* area and can attend their Fall session, Spring Session and 2 week Summer sessions with professional artists. He is already completely excited and is begging me to give him topics to inspire him to tell me short stories. I think this will be a great outlet for him.

*(yeah, I was surprised it wasn't for drama, too). Ha!
