This is the feeling of the moment when you finally realise that none of your dreams will come true, ever. Traveling abroad? Forget it. Your own flat? Unobtainable in a lifetime.
It's like when you're driving somewhere and suddenly there is a giant rift, and though the road continues on the other side, there is just no way to reach that side.
Not that I know a feeling of driving, because there's no point in getting a car if you need to get a (your own) roof over your head first...
Last year I've somehow managed to lose all of the privileges I had since I was born. What a talent to screw any possibilies and be a disappointment.
Yeah, there are people who've been through much worse and they've made it. But people are different, situations are different, external factors may be stronger than any person, no matter how hard they tried, and for any person who did made it, there are some that didn't and so they can't share their stories. So if somebody rose up above some hardship, it doesn't mean everybody can and will do the same.
Anyway, the situation is not bad right now, but it can get much worse in the future, and it bothers me.
I can count only on myself, but thinking realistically I can't do much. :(

Dear punx and punkrock fans, some decades ago we had #nofuture or #toomuchfuture, depending on where we lived. And although the warning signs were up in the 80s, politicians ignored them and now we are in the middle of a #climatecrisis. We are the first generation to fully experience what it means to live in the climate crisis and we may be the last one with the ability to change anything.
Kids united and schoolstrike #FridaysForFuture. Politicians tell them to shut up and let the professionals do the work. Did we ever listen to grown ups?
Now the kids are joined by #parentsForFuture and by #scientistsForFuture (14.000 signed in Germany,
